Words Are Very Powerful

When I see people that are struggling in all areas of their life, like financially, emotionally and physically, the first thing I think of is, do they really know Jesus?  Do they have a real personal relationship with him? And do they fully know and understand that God’s living words are the real and only truth?

There are so many that has heard about Jesus and say they believe in Him, but they don’t have that real personal relationship, by meditating on His living words. I guess they think it’s only words. Wow, only words huh. Let’s see. God spoke Adam into existence by speaking the word out. How awesome is that? Spoke the universe, stars, planets, animals and everything into existence by His words and yet so many doubt His living words. I guess a lot people take a lot of these things for granted.

James 1:18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of all he created.

Miracles are happening every second of the day, because of God’s living words, but so many people don’t even hear, see or feel them.

Deuteronomy 30:19 This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.

Now if you really think about it, God has given us some awesome authority by our words we speak, if we choose wisely. God even tells us which words to choose. How much easier can it get? It can’t. However, in this law God has given us, it doesn’t matter if you’re a believer or not. This law is like the law of gravity. Whether you are a believer in Christ or not, the law of gravity is still there. For example: Let’s say you accidently fell off a ladder. You’re going to hit the ground, whether you believe in God or not. So be very careful of the words coming out of your mouth, because you are either activating the law of life and blessings or of death and curses. This is no joking matter.

Matthew 18:18 (KJV) Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Many years ago, I had a friend of mine pass away at a very young age who was involved in an automobile accident. It was so sad to see someone died at such a young age. However, later after the funeral, it wasn’t the accident that really freaked me out and several of my close friends and his family. It was what someone said they heard my friend say, prior to the accident that caused his death. He was heard saying that, if he died that day, it would be the happiest day of his life. Was that a coincident? Well, all I can say is, I know what the living words God says about it and now you do to.

Proverbs 18:21 The tongue has the power of life and death and those who love it will eat its fruit.
